Windy, cold, no bites, no follows, no fish and worst of all GREEN GUNK/GOO already in the water near shore with floating islands off shore. My normal spinner with single barbless hook was pointless as the gunk was all over it on every cast. For some reason, a spoon with a single barbless hook did not attract the goo like the spinner. No boats or any other shore fishermen. On my normal litter P/U, I found one, very empty , PowerBait jar (illegal folks; Medical Lake is a selective fishery). Very early for the GREEN GUNK/GOO to appear; hopefully nearby West Medical Lake will not suffer from the same problem when it opens this Saturday.
