Tried some fishing yesterday at the Mosseyrock Dam fishing area, off of Highway 12. It was sunny with very little wind blowing. The fishing calendar rated it a Best day. I got there at 5:00 in the afternoon. I counted about four other people fishing there, at various times while I there.
I caught a small silver salmon (land-locked Coho.) I released it. I had five strikes total. I was using shrimp or worms for bait, about 6 feet down. There were a few jumping. I didn't see any big schools of fish. I didn't see anybody else catching any.
