After being BLOWN OFF by high winds yesterday at Sprague Lake, I decided to give Medical Lake a try today. Slow at first, but upon the arrival of a polite group of anglers, I got no less than five follows tossing a new spinner; I just could not get them to commit. However, the arriving group's female angler caught a large rainbow on a spoon (released). Nice people to share the bank with and all fishing legally with no bait/single barbless hook lures. Unfortunately, I did hear one fly fisherman's mention of "some kid" recently catching a 25" rainbow on…a bobber and worms (illegal). On my portion of the bank, I noticed evidence of recent, PowerBait usage (also illegal).
