So me and my dad got to the lake around 8 p.m. like usual to do a little bass fishing. We hadn't had much luck at Whitestone but this trip changed it all. We got a few small bass and a few perch and sunfish but nothing big. Then around 10 o'clock we decided to try some surface fishing. We headed to an inlet with weed growth all around it. I put on a heddon torpedo and casted out. First cast got me a nice 5 pounder, 2nd got a 4 pounder, and the 3rd cast got me another 4 pounder. All the fish were released for others to enjoy so please remember to practice catch and release.
