I had the day off and decided to try the lake for a few hours with a buddy of mine. We got there around 11 am and fished until about 3:45. Had many hits on and off throughout the day but only 2 stuck. The first one was about 14 inches and the second was closer to 20 and much thicker. These fish fight great, even the smaller of the two was a blast with 6 lb test and a super light action rod! The larger one actually hunkered down under the boat for a good 45 seconds and wouldn't budge! Been some time since I have had a rainbow in a lake do that to me!! Tight Lines all!
