Tried a little of everything that day, powerbait in honeysuckle, trolled some J-plugs and flies for bows with no luck. Ended up in the Crappie bay but wasn't expecting much although I did manage to land a few nice Largemouth Bass with the Ratso jigs and bobber but that was short lived. I doubt it will heat up till the water reaches 46 degrees or so. . Finished the day trolling a small Kastmaster and fighting a few Kokanee. They are schooling up heavily right now and spook easily. The highlight of the day was at dusk when I spotted a small bird just laying in the middle of the lake, as I came closer I said to myself "what the heck, is that a Quail?!?" sure enough, I switched back and pulled up right next to it, backing the kicker up it swam as fast as a Quail can swim(not very) up onto the swim deck! It stayed there all the way back to shore then flew off onto a stump. I'm glad I was there at that moment, it made up for the crappy Crappie fishing=) Good luck out there.
