My cousin Kavin Bolser and I hit Burke Lake in the Quincy lakes for some early spring rainbow trout. the fishing wasn't as fast as years past but we took my 10ft flat bottom jon boat out to seek some bigger fish. I hooked a 4 to 5 pound triploid on my 2nd cast but he spit the hook at the net. I was using my custom made 1.5" Baby Damzel Nymph which has been catching fish every where I've thrown it this spring. Shore fishers were scoring on rainbow colored and salmon pink power eggs set 2 feet off the bottom and everyone seemed to be catching fish averaging 11 to 14". The wardens were out in full force so be sure to have your life jackets and parking permits in your rigs. Good luck brothers. feel free to email me at dobberdeluxe@yahoo.com for fishing info and my custom jigs for crappie and trout.

Baby Damsel Nymph, I love it! That thing would be the largest real damsel nymph ever! More like a great Dragon Fly Nymph, but if the fish eat it who cares! A lot of my fly patterns are tied smaller, but very similar in fashion.
