Hit mason lake for some winter trout, got on the water a little late, around 8:30-9,my freind brought in a 16 inch football of a trout on a rapala floater within the first half hour, I brought in a 12 in stocker a little after that on a gold and red thomas bouyant. Seems we caught the end of the morning bite because thats all we managed, though saw some bigger trout cruising the shallows by the public launch and surrounding docks. Good time but woulda liked a few more fish!
