I fished Medical Lake roughly mid-morning to 1 PM. Beautiful day! I missed the first strike, but I was able to hook a bright rainbow of 15" within another three casts. After releasing that fish, I had a couple of follows and I lost a small fish at the bank. The fly fisherman in pontoon boats, hanging just off the boat launch were doing very, very, well. They appeared to be using chromonid patterns (?) with an indicator. Quite a few people fishing today and all appeared legally fishing other than a couple guys on shore near the swimming beach; who disappeared as more anglers came out. Remember: SINGLE BARBLESS HOOK, ARTIFICIAL LURES ONLY, 2 FISH OVER 14" LIMIT.
