It was a slow day only caught 1 trout with white marshmallow and worm on a 2.5 to 3 foot leader. It was 3 lb 7 oz and 21 inches it's the biggest one I have ever caught. Had only 2 other bites for the rest of the day. One guy across from me caught a fishing pole.

Thanks for the report. Could you see whether the entire lake was ice-free or not?

I think it all ice free. But I didnt see the other side of the lake opposite of the boat launch. There were people in float tubes that went down that way so it must be.

Thanks for your report. Thinking about going down there with a small boat, so the ice was clear at the launch and then up a ways to the deeper water right?

I bet that was my pole he caught! I hooked into a monster a few months back and before I could grab the pole, in the hole it went!! I liked that pole too:)
