We had an exceptionally warm month of January here in North Idaho and fry could be seen leaping for insects most of the morning. I would normally not be fishing this lake at this time but since the release of Kokanee into the system I felt it was my duty to try it out. Using a 000 dodger and wedding ring continued to provide great success. Most of the fish were caught in the 30-50ft column and stayed pretty consistent all morning. Size was 12-16" It was around 11AM when it started to slow down and I packed it up.
