Got on the ice about 10. Ice was about 10 inches thick with 4 inches of snow on top. Was using a glow jig with a piece of worm. Only fished from 10 to 1130 but caught over 15 perch and 2 crappie. All were small and were released to catch another day. Had a great day watching a group of turkeys hanging around at the lake edge, catching fish, and a bright shiny day. Only saw 3 others on the lake, but they were down at the public boat launch and I went in at Jerry's Landing.

I was there around 2 and stayed till 430 caught 22 and buddy showed up around three he caught 8 @ public launch glo/maggots 8'.

The group of turkeys: Did they go back to their cars while you were there?

Sounds like fun. Sometimes those short "fish and run" trips are great.
