Perch fishing has been pretty good all around this lake. We fished in 22ft of water off points with a mud bottom. Although there are not a lot of big perch there are enough dinkers to keep ya busy all day. We ended up catching over 100perch but only 3 were at the 12" mark the rest were mostly 4-6". There are so many that we ended up keeping a lot of them for canning whole. Again the Ratso and Swedish Pimple worked well for these perch. I brought the 4wheeler out for the first time, even though they say 5" of new clear ice is safe, I had a hard time believing it when it's 7.5" and cracking at the wheels!. I am told the Crappie fishing is pretty good here at night but I have yet to try, maybe next time. Good luck out there and be safe.
