We started before 8am. We were the 3rd vehicle parked at Jerry's Landing. We went north from Jerry's about 200 yards, our usual place. Drilled 6 holes to start. Caught fish right away. Then things slowed down. They would bite in batches. We threw back more than we kept, they were to small. We kept 14, mother in-law kept 8. I guess she beat me, today! I caught 3 crappie all were to small, 8 5/8". We caught a few bass but only kept one, 10 3/4". We will probably try again Sunday. We used small jigs tipped with maggots. The jigs we used were yellow with white and black stripes size 10.

To define to small- that would be a fish, perch, that is smaller than what I prefer to fillet. So anything less than say about 7 inches.
