Not a very good day on the lake at all. I started out trolling, but the lake was FULL of debris. It looked like there had been a major wind storm, but there hadn't been. It was as if someone had cleared a portion of the shoreline and just let it all go floating in the lake. It was as if there were a couple small floating islands. My prop started get junk wrapped up in it so I just headed back to the North end of the lake and dropped bait for a few hours. One bite and no fish over four hours. Combine that with all the debris in the lake, I would say that equals a bad day on the lake. It still beats not being on the water at all though.

It's been a lot slower at Leland than I expected for this time of year for sure. Seems like it got fished pretty heavily when they stocked it in October. I think most of the fish are close to the shoreline. I was out there the same day, fishing from the Dock. I managed 4 pretty nice sized Rainbows, and missed several others, but I was there almost all day. Maybe things will pick up when it warms up a bit.

When I was there on Sat the 28th a lot of debris was floating then to. Fished from the shore at the boat launch and the dock. For three or so hours didn't catch anything.
