A little late with this report but we went to Potholes last Saturday to do a little ice fishing. The we consisted of Glenn, Nathan, Noodle, Trent, Mike and myself. We arrived about 0900 at Lind/Coulee where we drove down to an area for access to the lake. We fished near an island in about 25 ft of water. We used jigs, drop shots, Swedish Pimples and a bare hook with night crawlers. Overall the Swedish Pimple tipped with an eye ball worked best. Glenn, Nathan and I only fished till 1 pm and our tally was about 30 perch and 1 Walleye. We kept about half of the perch and the 1 eye was about 14". Noodle and the rest of the gang made a day of it and caught about 50 or so perch. We were the first ones on the ice but were soon followed by a Russian horde and a handful of other hard water fisherman. The sun was shining and it was fairly warm, all in all a great day out on the ice.
Merry Christmas to all
