The Quadfather

Some great fish in there, as you now know,

I arrived on the north east corner of the lake around 10:30. set up #1 plunk bait, 2 to 3 1/2 ft leader various power bait/eggs, Corky/ shrimp, roe, single cured eggs caught nothing all day. Set up #2 various plugs and crankbaits. Casting towards shore from the northeastern dock I got my first hit on set up #2 silver lipless crankbait, cotton Cordel. I saw it roll on it, I set the hook, pulled it out of it's mouth. It was a German brown in the 20" to 22" class... It was awful seeing what I just lost.. About 100 casts later still no fish so I moved on the the west side dock, where I met some WA lakers, and other interesting people, I did get 1 hit on the bait rig ( I think) but nothing to show for it. After 2 hours or so I moved on towards the amphitheater, still nothing. I through everything but the kitchen sink. And had 1 for sure missed hit all day... Id say the water needs to cool down a bit more before the browns get active
