Late report for Oct. (fixed FF). Lake trout just right of stump/rock on drop off @101', took jig and came up with another laker following. At about 65' unhooked laker bolted to the bottom to join 2 other large lakers on the bottom. Slow bite d/t lakers in spawn mode.

I know you launch at the dam end of lake. Any snow on the beach yet? Or I suppose your trip was in October... Gotta be snowed by now.

No snow on Speeyli today according to LR. November one of the best month to target large lakers (>15 ) and shallow (35-60') since spawn is over.

I'd like to target lake trout at Cle Elum early in 2014. Is this lake fishable in January or February? I have a kayak so can launch even with snow on the ground.

Probably will be iced over. Ice is not always safe on this lake.
