Went fishing with my dad on sunday at lake lenore. arrived at 8am and had fog and calm winds, launched the boat and bagan trolling landed first fish at 8:40 nice lohontan about 2pds, released and kept fishing. fished the east bank along the lake, my dad landed 3 with the last one being the keeper,i landed 5 with my last one being my keeper. fished from 8-11:30. great day fishing going back next sun.

$4K in fines, 20 days in jail and forfeiture of the truck.

Forfeiture of truck, net, and fish......I hope? 4k in fines, just about pays for the 20 day stay..........ridiculous. Why is doing illegal activity made affordable in the US?

Is that sentence a deterrent or invitation?

That Lahontan Cutthroat trout poaching by our esteemed former "Eastern Bloc" immigrants has been going on for a long time...glad to see they got caught!
