With all the Salmon reports taking up most of the fishing time and reports, I finally got a chance to make some panfish forays with two of my best buddies recently, Joe Schmidt A.k.A- Fishin'Christain and Lure making legend Charlie Liebert of East Wenatchee. Both Charlie and Joe have had great success using my Jigmiester Custom Lures nymphs, minnows and sculpin baits and the fall pan fishery on Moses Lake has been pleasantly surprising. Some of the bull blue gill we caught were over a pound and every one of them was released so they can have a chance to spawn next spring. Joe landed a Smallie that went nearly 6 pounds with 4 lb test on my new 3" Funky Worm. The 2" Jiggy Minnows and 1.5" Nudge Bug Flash E tail nymphs nailed some nice slab crappie for us as well.
