went to see if i could get anything to bite from green lake on my way home. i eneded up playing the numbers game. i lost track of how many fish i caught, i couldnt beat by record of ten fish in ten casts. i came close 3 times. nothing big lots of dink bass.95%t of them were 5"-8"
Highlights-
-caught a fiesty 14" rainbow in about 14" of water along a shoreline.
-missed a big hit from approx 2-3lb Largemouth
-a younger kid was watching and asking questions about fishing with his mom there, i let him take a couple casts and he caught is first bass.
i was using a beetle spin lure but i used a small white berkly grub w/ curly tail instead of the packaged grub. i was also using a firetiger jointed rapala. the trout hit on the beetle spin
