9/20/2013 1:00:00 PMC&R release is tough when fishing using bait. I do alot of C&R trout fishing troling fly's and wedding rings, they dont swallow those they get hooked in the mouth.

Went fishing for trout here at blue lake. Very tough fishing and the trout I did catch where those small bows they planted in here about a year ago. (See Picture) I don't get the point of them planting those in there. You catch one and they have a 50/50 chance of surviving the catch if they swallow the hook. I C&R all fish. I did though catch a lot of very nice perch on those power eggs. Other than that it was ok. I came over for mostly bass fishing at banks and the level is still down about 2-3 feet and they pumped in a lot of cold water from the columbia river which is no good for bass fishing. Didn't do to well there. Peace.
