Yesterday reminded me of the days of old when bull bluegills were the norm and not the exception from Mose Lake. Yesterday at the I 90 bridge was insane fishing for a multiple species foray, primarily using my Jigmiester Custom lures 3" Crappie worms. Me and my friend Gabe Munoz~ of Yakima put over a 100 fish in the boat in 5 hours by tight lining my custom jigs and plastics around the I 90 bridge's pylons. We caught nearly 2 limits of keeper walleye, some 2 dozen crappie, a bunch medium (1 to 1 1/2 lb) sized smallmouth bass and close to 30 big bull bluegill. The only fish we took home for the pan were the walleye. It looks like the bluegill may be on their way back as these fish were the biggest I have caught in 20 years on Moses lake. We released those big gills to spawn in the spring and hopefully Moses may once again be a premier panfish destination in the future. Tight lines guys. The Jigster

Nice fat ones!
I can't go though, because the siren call of 6 million pink salmon is just too much to bear right now.

I've heard that the fishing at both the Potholes and Moses has been improving. Sounds like you did very well, congrats.

Very nice! Perhaps the reduction in bag limits for bluegill is finally paying off at Moses. Also glad to you released the bruisers to spawn again.
