I had a chance to head up to my former home town Lake of Moses to fish with my friend Gabe Nunoz~ of Yakima. I was chomping at the bit to try out my newly poured panfish baits like the 3" Crappie Worm and too take advantage of the high morning lunar bite predictions. The water at the launch was like glass but the typical Moses Groady Green algae color. We fished primarily under the I90 bridge and from the git go it was a torrid bite.Gabe and i caught walleye, smallmouth crappie and some of the biggest bluegill that I have seen in 20 years! We had a hard time catching fish with slip bobbers so it was basically a tight line affair. All tolled, we put over a 100 fish in the boat, though most of the crappie were under the 9" slot limit. I introduced Gabe to tasty walleye filets and he really wants to get out again soon! The hottest bait was my new Funky Munky colored 9 watermelon red flake/pink tail) 3" Crappie worm fished on 1/16th and 1/32nd ounce lead heads. the medium sized smallmouth just tore up my baits...fun times. See you' all on the water. Jiggy
