Lines wet 0630, first boat in the water! Fog not too bad with enough light to see. Started out with two koke between WDFW launch and Silcox Island. Circled around and picked up a 15 1/2" bow. Good start to the day and only 0730. Trolled over to the VA - nothing. Lots of corn stealers and no stickers for two hours. Head back to the launch and picked up a cutt and another koke out in front of the launch in 50 fow = limit. Most meter marks were from 31-39 feet.

All the koke were caught using a Vance Tackle gold dodger and a spin-n-glo. The Bow and cut hit a glow hoochie with an added twinkle skirt behind a pink splatter dodger.

When I beached, Miss Katrina from WDFW was there to collect fishing data (sizes, species, your zip code).

Probably~ she has also been at Redondo before. Great catch Lou as this is a great time to start getting back onto the lakes now that the summer madness is over!

Nice haul, Lou! Interesting set-up with the spin-n-glo. Are those beads from a wedding ring above/below the spin-n-glo (hard to tell for sure in the pic)?

Man those are some nice eaters I should be doing that rather than chasing pinks. Nice set up where did you pick up that pink swing blade cool color. Thanks for the post.

Salmonbarry: Thanks. Never became a part of the summer madness, but thinking of doing the river thing with Nate.

Fish Dawg: Yes. The glow stack beads are components I got from Sportco. The rest is my "creativity"? Actually, on overcast/foggy mornings, like today, I have been using glow on my lures with great success. I use a small $12 electronic flash gun and charge them each they go in the water. Tested the action along side the boat and the spin-n-glo works fine with the extra stack on top. This lure has been nailing the kokes on Clear, Ward, Summit and American. UV light only penetrates relatively clear water to about 20 feet. Glow has no depth limitation.

Idstud: The dodger is the "famous" Pink Splatter pattern that several manufacturers have made their own variation of. Get them at Sportsman's Warehouse, Kokanee Tackle, Sportco, Auburn Marine, Cabelas, etc.
