Went to Lake Tapps this morning with my friend Joe. We arrived at boat launch at 6am. The day started off slow but really picked up around 9am. We ended up the day catching 25 Smallmouth Bass with ten going from 1 3/4 pounds to the largest pushing three pounds. All were caught on either a Grubb on a Carolina Rig or a Football Head Jig and a Hula Grub. All were caught in about 15 to 21 ft of water.
Water temp was 71 degrees when we arrived and 72 when we departed at noon. Fishing turned out to be pretty good especially from 9 am till about noon.
