Went on a 8 day camping trip with the family. We stayed at the state park next to first crick. I have only been to lake chelan a couple times and haven't done to great. After fishing every morning for a week I finally caught a 4 pound mackinaw. We were keeping the down rigger right on the bottom with a herring. The other rod was set up with a three way swivel. It had a 12 ounce weight weight and a fish flash right on the bottom with a herring. That was the rod that caught the fish. We were fishing with all the other boats on Mack bar by waputo point in mill bay. I can't remember if it was 160 feet or 260 feet when I caught that fish.
