Very slow fishing. Weather was in the 90's with little wind, so it was tough to fish during the day. Other than some small sunfish and perch my girlfriend and I didn't catch anything. Large group of people came in Friday night to camp for the week and didn't catch anything for the 2 days we were there. When I was helping to remove one of the guys boats Fri. evening he said how much he hates trout and that they come here every year for a week and only catch perch and crappie. He bragged how they brought in buckets of perch and crappie last year from a nearby lake and were hoping they were big enough to catch this year. I tried to control myself and mentioned to him that these lakes were killed off 4 years ago at great expense and restocked with trout. Idiots like this shouldn't be allowed to fish and the reason so many lakes are full of stunted perch and sunfish. Many lakes in this area are managed for warm water species, so leave the trout lakes alone!
