Got on the lake at about 8:00 am. Fished about half way up the west side approximately 50 yards offshore. About 25-35 feet water depth. (Guessed by amount of anchor line out.) Bite was steady but the fish are sneaky and I fed a few that I never landed. Light hits and one occasion of the fish taking the hook and bringing it to me. Caught four good sized rainbows on 15 year old power bait. The other boat I saw seemed to be catching better than I. Talked to a float tuber that caught several small bass while he fished along the edge of the weeds and snags.
