Tried my luck at Carlisle Lake last night. It was sunny, with a little wind blowing. The fishing calendar rated it a poor day. I got there at 7:10 in the evening. I counted about 8 to 10 folks fishing on the banks and 2 out trolling. I caught 2 trout, about 10 inches long. I had a few more bites. I was using yellow Powerbait Power Eggs off of the bottom. I quit when it was starting to get dark and the mosquitos were coming out in force.

They have improved the trail out there around the lake some. There is also a new park sign as well as the nice paved parking lot mentioned before.
