Back to Tapps for one last trip this week. Rained far more than what the weather man was calling for, but that was alright. I had rain gear and the lake stayed flat all morning. Caught 17 smallies, with one close to 3 lbs, and a couple of 2's. Started out on the main lake ledge across from the boat launch without success. Then went to Driftwood Point where I caught all 17 fish in 18 to 24 ft of water. Fished a dropshot the entire time, trying a variety of plastics. Called it a day about 11:30. Anyway, fun day.

Good day. I must have just missed you out there today. The wife and I braved the rain too. Thought we were the only crazies out fishing in the rain. I have a Lowe Fishing Machine 165 grey in color. If ya see me out there feel free to pull up and say hello. This lake is quickly becoming my favorite. Only fished it three times now and each outing gets better thanks to yours and others reports

Also, stop by if you see me. I fish out of a mini bassboat. It says Bass Tender 11.3 on the side and has a 9.9 Mercury on the rear.

Didn't see you out there today. Beautiful day out there. No luck though.
