Caught this nice fish from Bass Lake about a week ago. I could not get a bite with a texas rig so I took the weight off and started working the pads. The Havoc Rocket Craw actually made a pretty good top water bait, and I love my Lew's speed spool. Was easy to adjust and still get decent casts with no added weight. I also went back a couple evenings ago, and again could not get anything going until I switched to topwater right at sunset. Got three on a buzz bait, biggest being 1.5 lbs.
