Set out on the water around 7pm with Eric. Paddled over to the immediate right side of the lake from launch site at least two beavers seemed to be out slapping the water pretty hard on this side of the lake, yet plenty of fish were seen surfacing still. Ran into a few schools of 50+ perch which terrorized our night crawlers. Most of the action was in the top 18 feet of water. Lots of larger trout and LMB surfacing for bugs around sunset. We only had luck getting perch although we tried trolling and still fishing just about everything we had before getting off the water at 9:30.
One of the guys who lived on the lake tried to be a tough guy about who dropped the cigarette butt at the launch while smoking one himself, neither of us smoke, so he eventually just picked it up and left. Overall, I would love to return and fish here more often as the lake is very secluded and peaceful. Just a heads up nothing that goes over 5mph is allowed out here and the lake is closed to visitors 10pm-4am. Watch out for tough guys.

Thanks for the report. So is there a WDFW sign that says closed 10-4AM? By the way 5 MPH is the speed limit, not the limit of your potential boat speed.
Any size to the perch?

From what I remember it was not a WDFW sign, makes me wonder... lol, yup, cant go over 5mph on the lake, I dont see anyone getting huge boats in that water anyways. No size to the perch, none over 6" Id say - I was looking forward to something to take home which wouldnt be skin and bones and didnt get that.

I was up there and checked.....it is a WDFW sign. The reason is residences are close to the launch and the WDFW wants to keep harmony with the folkes who live there. I wouldn't want people coming and going all hours of the night if I lived next to the public boat launch either.

PS Caught a bunch of perch too; many small ones and the occasional 8 incher. All eat great, I have a great way to clean them that only leaves the back bone and two slabs of meat. Yum!
