Arrived at the lake around 5:30 PM. Headed out with my float tube with power eggs off of the bottom. Fish were jumping everywhere, so I figured it would be a quick day to limit. I have never been so wrong! The entire afternoon I never got so much as a bite! I even had fish jumping within 5 feet of my float tube! Talking to some other fishermen on the lake, they said that they have had a similar experience the last few weeks. Hopefully the fishing will pick up once the seasons start to change and we get into September.
