Fished the south shore (about mid lake) of Quincy Lake today.
We started about 7:45AM and the three of us had our limits within two hours. I was using glitter orange power bait, while the others were using plain rainbow colored. The fish averaged about 10" with the largest being 13". From what I could see bank fishermen were having just as much success as people in boats. If bank fishing I would offer two suggestions: One is to use an extra long leader, because of the weed growth, and two to bring some extra shoes along because there is some mud in spots to deal with.
