It was pretty good when I went and blade baits work well this time of year. Me and my dad went and threw some topwater in the morning for any bass that might be hungry just a few nibbles from some smallmouth by the rock shelves. Later on in the day we used bottom bouncers for walleye and I ended up with a HUGE 27 incher!!! My dad also hooked up with a fair 22 incher on a fire tiger colored crank bait. Its starting to speed up over there and it'll be a good year.
