The air temperature was 52 degrees when I started fishing around 6:30am. There was a mist coming from the lake because the surface water was warmer than the air temperature. When I took the temp of the water at 40 feet down it was 52 degrees. So I tried for fish at around that depth. I had one bite right away which wasn’t there after I got it off the clip. Then I had to wait around an hour while I trolled trying to find them. I ended up trolling north and south about the middle of the lake. From 65-88 feet of water with the 2 lines on the cable from 26-42 feet down.
I caught 3 nice ones and 2 next years fish. The last one I got just before the sheriff checked me out.
They were caught on Dick Nite Dodgers, 50/50 and Watermelon, with Wannafish A Lures Gilded lily variance and one maybe I will call the Agitator in green. I finished about 10am and the sun was shining but it wasn’t hot like it has been.
We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.
