Was square bill crankbait day at Kapowsin. Was on the lake from 6:30 to 2-ish. Managed to catch several small LMB and even a trout on the crankbait. Was at Kapowsin last Saturday and caught a 16" LMB - biggest catch at this lake. Took my camera this time and "just in case" and caught the pictured 15" LMB. This guy and another of same size were swimming along the length of a submerged tree trunk. Threw my crankbait to the left, then the right - no interest. Burned the bait past on the left and both eyed, but no takers. Ok, this retrieve will go right past their face - yes!
