Caught 4 Kokanee. The early morning was great. The water was like glass with hazy fog sitting on top of the water. Unfortunately, we forgot our net, so we had to land the fish in the boat by hand. We ended up losing a few that way. We used Kokanee lures and trolled around the lake. Most of the hits happened around the middle of the lake. By 11am, the boats with skiers and tubes started picking up, so we ended up leaving. Overall a fun time and really matched up with the hot fishing reports that we read here. We got to the lake around 6:30am. If we had gotten there earlier, I think we would have had even more action. Seems the earlier the better at this lake. Definitely look to fish in the early morning here again. Kokanee!
