Well tried out my new bass craft at lovely lake 12. New boat on a new lake..... Lake seems to be about on par with the rest of the king county stained colored lily pad lakes. This lakes seems a bit shallower with a bit more weeds. Lots of active bass despite the poor moon phase. Hooked about 3 smaller bass and one whopper coming in about 6lbs. Got him right in the middle of the lake down in a weed bed. Took me about 5 minutes to get him drug out of the weeds and into the boat. Anyways, my first small lake lunker this year as I missed the spawn. Pretty good day. I spotted a few other large bass in the 4 to 6 lb range following my lure. Went back there this evening and didn't even get a bite. Lots of trout surfacing however.....
