Fishing the evening on Lake WA. Wind was up from North to South. If I have a break in the action I like to take my JetSki out to find some bass. Usually use a drop-shot with various plastics. Had a very productive evening using a white color worm-like deal. Hooked 3 great bass....The photo is the best one of the bunch. Glad to see that they are getting a bit more active.

About how deep were you finding them?

Btw, how is it fishing from a jetski?

Fishing from a jetski is fun. It is a bit tricky with the wind. Since it was blowing me south and toward shore, I would start out in about 20ft of water or a bit deeper. I was just south of the Seahawks facility, just north of the two posts that stick out prior to the houses. There is another post north of the two posts to the south. I would start about 30 yards beyond the first post or west of that in deeper water, I would cast out with the drop-shot and then work the rig as I would drift in. Most of the activity was in the shallower water as I would drift in. In fact, once the fish was on, I had to maneuver the ski to deeper water so I would not get blown into shore trying to land the fish. All told the fish were picked up between 10-20 yards off of the shore. I don't have a depth finder on the ski so I cant be entirely certain as to the depth, if I had to guess I would say 10ft deep? This technique allowed me to cover I decent area with multiple depths. I was actually surprised that it worked.
