We had planned to fish Park Lake before we headed home Sunday afternoon. We arrived at the ramp at 0530 and we were the third boat on the water. Skies were clear and the air temp was very cold.
We started fishing with Flatfish's right on the surface. We only managed to pick up a few fish. Catching seemed really slow. We later started to experiment with different lures and techniques to see if changing a lure would produce some strikes. I trolled orange Powerbait with a little bit of weight. I was getting strikes then started to land some nice 'bows. My friends soon switched to trolling orange Powerbait and started to catch fish too. We finished the day, around 11 AM, with five nice 'bows in the boat.
