Finished the day with 9 pike and one nice large mouth bass. I fished 2 of the chain lakes as well as one location on the main lake at cda today. Fish were all in 5 to 8 feet of water. 6 pike and one large mouth on white frogs and 3 pike on a white spinnerbait. All fish were found on weedlines. Still lots of fry being seen in the water and weed beds are really going good now. Slow retrieve seemed to be the ticket today. Water temps in the main lake were 65 to 67 degrees and up to 78 degrees in the chain lakes I fished. They are out there. Just keep moving till you find them. Obviously not all weedlines will have fish. The fish I caught were in shallow weedbeds near deeper water.
Top 2 pike went 30 and 35 inches today.
