Hit Tanwax Saturday, arrived at launch at 4:45 I was first at launch, I usually hang around the boat launch fishing until people start rolling in just to keep an eye on my truck. I wanted to catch one on top water, so was throwing a skitter pop and hooked one about 2.5 lbs. He hit right at the boat and got wrapped around the trolling motor. By the time I got him untangled, he was just barely hooked. When I reached down to lip him he came unbuttoned. It was some excitement though, that fish fought hard! There was enough people so I ran down the lake and fish a shore line with no houses. Still hoping to get a top water fish, I put the trolling motor on constant run and started casting. Almost at the end of the shore One hammered it. That one put up a good fight also. I went around the point and found 2 other bass boats so I turned around and went back down shore line. I got one more on black/blue jig about the same size. I wasn't paying attention, so he swam about 15 feet with my jig before it was time to set. I fished a little longer, then it was time to go. I fished for a 3.5 hours.
In the pictures Is the sunrise and the fish caught on the skitter pop. the sunrise was nicer than a 2.5 pounder. I had take pics of my phone again because I can't figure out how to transfer the pics off the s3.
