Smallmouth are suprisingly large this year. Brought 4 into the boat in a little over an hour and lost just as many, all but one was over 3 pounds. I catch them this size often but not one after another, usually it's ten small one's to one over three pounds. I've been out five times this year and its the same results. Going looking for Pike this weekend, I read some posts about them being in sunset bay or the island across from there. Our place is in sunset bay and I have never caught or so much a seen one in either area, maybe it's just me. Please fill me in if you know where they are. I have also hooked several monster crappie in my usual spots which is not unusual.
