As I mentioned before the once little Kokanee are growing at an astonishing rate and beginning to resemble their larger cousins. The largest today was 17.5". They are beginning to show signs of whats soon to come with the bucks developing their well known hook jaw, I can only hope the majority of them make it another year to become an Idaho record breaker that is currently held at Priest lake at the 6lb range. Most Kokanee rigs will work just fine but these are some real fighters and the less resistance on your bait the more fun you'll have. Depths ranging from 25-50ft worked well for us. Don't forget the maggots!
"Usual Suspect" out.
