I was late. I ended up being 20 minutes late to the lake (5:50am) and Cami and Glen were early so they had to wait quite a while. Sorry F24. It sprinkled nearly the whole time we were there. This was the 1st morning of the super moon...does that have anything to do with it? I don’t know but the fishing wasn’t hot but we did get fish. I got 1 kokanee that was about 11 inches and we got trout.

Glen was happy with the performance of his motors which is one reason he was on freshwater. The tides were really fierce, too.
The surface temperature was 67-68 degrees. I worked today so we left at 10am.

Something interesting; we heard something loud on Silcox Island and Cami asked “What’s that.” Glen responded “A peacock.” I agreed. I told her that we had some that roam on my street and one had even been on my roof. I have seen one pecking in a ditch on a main road by my house. I got home and backed up into my driveway and looked over across the street and there were 3 peacocks’!

We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.

Hi Toni- Good to see ya on american lake. The kokes at clear lake appreciate it also. Back in the early 90's, I remember a peacock perched on a wooden fence, by the boat launch. I can't remember the lake, I wanna say Harts lake. Do you remember the peacock or lake?
