Windy and chilly all day. Found some fish trolling but few and far between. Bites on almost everything but nothing hanging on. Wooly worm, flatfish, and wedding ring with a bit of worm. Then we tried dropping the hook and tossing power bait out. We did pick up two nice 11 inch bows and a couple 9 inchers that swallowed the hook. We did toss a few small guys back that would survive a lip hook. Around 2:30 the wind was brisk enough that we just didn't want the hassel so we headed in for a nap and get the youngsters ready to go home with papa. My buddy and I with spouses will stay here for a few days in hopes of better weather and fishing. Tight lines.

Does Pearrygin put out smallish trout? Generally speaking? I was up there several years ago for a three day, memorial day weekend. All we caught were 9-11inchers.

There are plenty of those little shakers to go around. At the right time and depth about all you will see are 5 - 6 inch monsters. Hit hard, fight and tug like big boys........ must be babe's from the hold overs. Lots of the 10 -11 inch bows and silvers too.
