Out in my float tube by 7:00am. Hooked into six fish, landed an astounding zero. Being that it was my first time fly fishing I was more than satisfied to even hook into and fight the fish. Had a lot of fun even though I didn't technically catch anything. All fish hooked on a Black Wooly Bugger, and some mystery fly my dad bought at Swede's Fly Shop in Spokane. The mystery fly was dynamite and the bugger produced strikes. A good first experience! All of my hookups occurred within 50 yards of the aerator that is by the park that has all the baseball fields and the swimming area. I have the whole dang summer ahead of me so I will be making a lot more trips to Medical.
