After getting off Lake Lenore by high winds - we drove down to Evergreen Reservoir. We were amazed to see the winds that were elsewhere in the Columbia Basin were not present here!
We fished for about two hours from our 12 foot boat. I got skunked. My fishing partner - Rusty Johnston - gleefully caught 5 fish ( 3 perch, a small largemouth, and a decent 17 inch walleye). And yes - he did rub it in.
I got him back though - I told him that I thought that walleye had to be bigger than 17 inches to keep - so he threw it back. He was a bit upset when he saw the regs - and they said his prize fish only needed to be 16 inches long!
